Whether you are 30, 40 or 50 yrs old, beautiful looking skin is always a dream. Again it is a natural process and skin is the first thing to get affected by the aging process. Many can reveal their age by just looking at their face. The beautiful, flawless skin in your 20s might not be the same in your 30s, 40s and 50s. Few basic skincare practices on a regular basis can help you maintain beautiful glowing skin. 

Skincare Tips to follow in your 30s:

Early 30s is the time when one starts noticing changes in the skin like fine lines, occasional dullness or pigmentation. This is the time to take charge and control these changes. Begin your skin in 30s with : 

  1. Enough Hydration: First step to maintain glow and freshness on skin is hydration. Invest in good quality hyaluronic acid serum and moisturiser to take care of hydration. Select products based on your skin type.
  2. Protection from UV rays: If you still have not started with sunscreen, now is the time to start using Sunscreen with SPF more than 30 or higher. This will help in preventing pigmentation and fine lines. 
  3. Focus on Antioxidants: Vitamins V and Vitamin A are important antioxidants. They help in having even tone and protection against environmental damage to your skin. Apply it on your skin and also include it in the diet for internal nourishment. 
  4. Regular exfoliation: Exfoliation helps in removing dead skin cells and helps in reducing skin aging. Based on your skin type and texture select appropriate exfoliation.

Skincare Tips to Follow in your 40s: 

During this time skin changes become prominent and one can notice skin dryness, fine lines, wrinkles, and ageing signs due to sun damage. Even hormonal changes during this period of time affect skin elasticity and hydration. 

  1. Understanding the importance of Collagen: Vitamin c, Retinol, Peptides, hyaluronic acids help in improving collagen production and skin texture eventually. Introduce products containing bakuchiol, niacinamide to support collagen production.
  2. Under Eye creams: Many females observe under eye puffiness during early 40s. Using under eye creams which contain peptides, caffeine helps in reducing puffiness and dark circles around your eye.

  3. Observe and treat aging spots: Check for aging spots and treat them with licorice extract, arbutin etc. these ingredients help in reducing ageing spots.
  4. Professional treatments: Few treatments such as microdermabrasions, peel can help in reducing ageing spots.
